Gene Cooney Retail lockbox and wholesale lockbox are bank cash management products that capture payment information from various documents, deposit the associated checks to improve availability and transmit the payment information to customers to update their receivables system.  Retail lockbox is comprised of low dollar, high volume payments usually from a consumer accompanied by a scanable document such as your electric, gas, phone and water bills.  Wholesale lockbox is comprised of high dollar, low volume corporate to corporate payments.  The necessary payment information may be scanned or keyed prior to transmission to the customer. 

Mr. Cooney has designed, developed, implemented and managed a retail lockbox service for a major bank and also managed and reengineered a wholesale lockbox service.
